Do I need any real estate or title experience?
The short answer is it depends.
However, the good news is that some positions like: Order Desk Coordinator, Marketing and IT require no past real estate or title insurance experience.
Other positions such as PreClosing, PostClosing, Closing Coordinator or Closing Officer do require experience performing the responsibilities these positions require.
What is it like working at Mid South Title?
Working at Mid South Title is fast paced, highly productive and very efficient. We thrive on getting our jobs done and providing a service experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations day in and day out. While we can’t do every closing, we are always looking to fill up our closing calendar with quality residential and commercial closings. We take off major holidays, and some minor ones as well. Week by week the tempo of our pace may vary based on demand and what is needed to get the job done. We might work late one day, and leave early another. We offer health and retirement benefits. We buy lunch for the office on the regular. We know kids get sick and doctor appointments are unpredictable. Title and Escrow can be an uneven industry and we attempt to accommodate our clients, but life is uneven, and we do our best to accommodate our staff as well.
